You can plan the degree of Winding or Hilly routes once you are premium and using the TomTom maps option. Also it has a connector that allows you to download the route direct to the TT. I think the final routing is still done on the device, but this gives you a much better idea of what the route will look like. Tried it now on several 'longer' trips and it has worked better than before when I used TyreToTravel.

Kindly, Anders i have used tyre for many years, looking to transfer over, the cost seems expensive for a lifetime though, even with the discount. (does the annual use a discount also??) anyways, if i select tomtom map from the gold version, does that open the winding way?? Is there any way to plan a track, and have it display a point, like a lunch stop?? Hi Joel, No, when planning and exporting a route and starting it in 'track mode' in TTR400 I haven't found a way to enter a specific 'stop' way point. In case I really like to make a stop over I make one route to the stop and then a new route from the stop. If you open your route in 'route mode' you just show all your way points but then the gps is calculating the route between the way points on its own. When you use the TomTom map in Gold version you get the following options.
Hope you figure it out, TyreToTravel only sampled your entire route into maximum 100 waypoints, MyRoute-app seem to use 250ish when exporting the route to the gps in TomTom Rider 40/400 mode. Have a nice afternoon!
